Urban Cottage is a fully equipped self-contained cottage. The cottage
is designed for you to use as your home during your stay in Wellington.
Urban Cottage is available to lease for medium length stays of one month or longer.
We do not permit smoking and or pets at Urban Cottage.
Urban Cottage comfortably accommodates 4 people. Our bedrooms are
set up to be flexible and can cater for a family, individuals, couples
or a group of friends. We welcome babies and toddlers. We do not allow
more than 4 guests, adults or children, to sleep in the Cottage. However, we do allow an extra child if they are sleeping in a portacot.
Unfortunately Urban Cottage is not set up for wheelchair access.
Bedrooms
- Bedroom 1 has a king bed. There is a mirror
and large wardrobe with shelves and storage facilities to pack away bags. The vacuum
cleaner, iron, and ironing board are stored in the bedroom wardrobe.
- Bedroom 2 has a super king bed that can also be made into 2
single beds. Please let us know at time of booking whether you
prefer the super king or single beds made up. This room also has
a chest of drawers, mirror and wardrobe.
- A portacot is available by arrangement.
- All bedding is supplied, including for the portacot.
Lounge
- Comfortable seating for 4 adults on 2 chairs and a sofa
- 32" LCD Flat screen TV, Sky television, Tivoli iYiYi sound
system with ipod dock and alarm clock and DVD/CD player
- Self controlled electric Heat Pump
Dining
- Dining table and 4 chairs, highchair available by arrangement
Kitchen
- Urban Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. Crockery, glassware
and cutlery are supplied.
- Gas hob, electric oven,
microwave and dishwasher
Bathroom
- Urban Cottage has a fully equipped bathroom including a full
sized bath with shower.
- Towels, face washers, bath mat and handtowel.
- Hairdryer, wall heater, bathroom fan, heated towel rail.
- Combination washing machine and dryer and also a drying rack.
Outdoor Courtyard
- Urban Cottage has a private outdoor courtyard with seating
and a table. The courtyard flows directly off the kitchen and
lounge.
Phone & Internet Access
- Local phone calls are included, any calls to mobile phones or toll calls will be on charged.
- Wireless broadband internet access with a 1GB per month plan is provided, additional monthly download costs will be on charged.
Parking & Access
Stafford Street is a small quiet cul-de-sac with on street parking
for guests.
If you are bringing a car it is important you let us know at time
of booking.
Local convenience stores
Chaffers Street New World supermarket is a 10 minute walk for all
your grocery needs. Majoribanks Street dairy is a 5 minute walk for
basic grocery items and parking coupons.
